- We strongly condemn the attack launched on the
morning of February 28 against Iran by Trump-led
US imperialism and its pet dog in the Middle East,
the Zionist fascist Israel.
It has been reported that Iran’s Supreme Leader Ali
Khamenei, along with several top political and
military leaders, has been killed.
Carrying out terrorist attacks inside a different
country to assassinate top leaders is a gross violation
of international law. Through this, US imperialism
has once again proven itself to be a deadly enemy of
the countries, nations and people of the entire world.
Recently in Latin America, US imperialism
kidnapped the President of Venezuela through a
terrorist operation inside the country and took him to
their own soil. Such incidents are extremely rare in
modern history.
The way US imperialism, under the leadership of the
fascist Trump, is carrying out such terrorist thuggery
across the globe indicates that the Iran incident is not
the end. Rather, these are ongoing processes of
implementing a new world plan. The objective is to
attack countries, nations and people to loot resources
and suppress people’s struggles on one hand, while
strengthening its own position against rival
imperialist groups on the other.
We call upon all revolutionary, progressive,
democratic, and humanist forces, organizations,
individuals, and the masses at home and abroad to
build protest and resistance against US imperialism
and its boot-licking lackeys. - As part of the intensifying conflict between the USled Western imperialists and the China-Russia axis
for global hegemony, this represents a preparation for
a potential Third World War from their side.
US imperialism has launched desperate efforts
through a grand project to establish and maintain its
authority against the economic, political, and military
influence of Russia and China, particularly in key
Middle Eastern countries. To weaken and oust
opposing regimes that are oil-rich and militarily
strong, it previously carried out ‘regime change’ in
Syria. Recently, it attacked Iran again and killed
several important leaders. It cleared the path for its
dominance by using Israel to carry out a barbaric
genocide in Gaza, Palestine. It has weakened various
militant groups like Hamas, Hezbollah and the
Houthis, who are linked to or associated with the
Russia-China bloc. Since Iran is an oil-rich and
powerful military force, it has always been a target.
Thus, they took this step again by exploiting the
righteous movement of the masses, including
students and women, against the religious fascist
rulers. They are not allies of these oppressed people;
rather, they are a despicable national enemy using the
legitimate outrage of the people. - It can be clearly inferred that the primary US
objective is regime change in Iran. In this case, the
US excuse is that the Iranian ruling group is fascist
and is creating a threat to US interests in the Middle
East by developing nuclear bombs.
There is no need to explain that these are the excuses
of a villain. There is no doubt that the Iranian rulers
are fascist. But US imperialism is the number one
enemy of the nations and people of the world and an
even greater enemy of the Iranian people. They have
no right to attack the interior of Iran by violating all
international rules and norms. The very power that
possesses the world’s largest stockpile of nuclear
bombs is threatening Iran for this reason. There is
even a high probability that this propaganda is false.
The real intention of the US is to strengthen its
exploitation and political-military authority over the
entire Middle East by ousting opposing rulers in Iran,
while simultaneously establishing control over the
strategic Strait of Hormuz (through which a huge
portion of the world’s oil trade passes) and Iran’s oil
resources. They kidnapped the President of
Venezuela with the same objective. - The US chose this time for the attack despite the
opposition of Russia and China because Russia is still
bogged down in the Ukraine war. On the other hand,
China has not yet entered the stage of direct military
operations in these regions; instead, it continues to
focus on strengthening economic processes.
Therefore, it does not seem that Russia or China will
do much more than provide political support and
weapons for Iran at this moment. Consequently, the
immediate possibility of a world war is low.
However, war forces all parties involved to change
their plans. In the future, events may take an
unexpected turn. - Furthermore, almost all ‘Muslim’ countries in the
Middle East are now serving US interests. Therefore,
although there is talk of ‘Muslim Ummah’ unity, such
unity has never existed since 1967 and now there is
no question of it.
The UN lacks the capacity to do much beyond verbal
statements. Because such organizations are
fundamentally incapable of doing anything contrary
to the interests of imperialism.
Just two days before this invasion, India’s Hindutva
Prime Minister Modi visited Israel. This shows that
he too, despite relations with Iran or Russia, has
consented to the Israeli-US plan.
Additionally, at this very time, there may be US
consent/backing for the Afghanistan-Pakistan war.
Trump’s expression of friendship toward Pakistani
rulers after the start of the war is also unusual. All
these factors have facilitated the US plan against Iran. - Although this attack is coincidentally against a
Muslim-majority country, it is not a communal or
religious attack by Christians or Jews against
Muslims, as religionists abroad and in our country are
propagating. This is an aggressive attack by the chief
patron of imperialism, US imperialism, on a Third
World country.
In reality, most countries known as Muslim are
working openly or secretly in favor of the US attack.
On the other hand, Christian-Russia and
atheist/Buddhist-China are supporting Iran.
Therefore, giving it a religious-communal color is a
purposeful conspiracy, in which the religionists of our
country, including Jamaat, have joined hands. The
people must break free from such confusion.
Moreover, it is visible that most of the religionists in
our country are traditionally pro-Saudi and anti-Iran.
While this may outwardly appear to be the
ideological influence of the Shia-Sunni conflict, the
root cause is the difference in choosing sides in the
internal conflicts of imperialists. The main section of
religionists here historically serves as henchmen for
US imperialism.
This has become even clearer in the ‘lukewarm’
statements of these circles, including Jamaat,
regarding the ongoing events. In particular, they are
deceiving the Muslim masses of the country by
giving it a religious-communal color. On the other
hand, they are refraining from taking any principled
stand against US imperialism. - While the US-Israeli attack on Iran is gravely
condemnable, it must be clear that the religious ruling
group of Iran is a fascist force that has imposed fascist
rule on the common people of Iran for over four
decades. They have indiscriminately killed and
repressed progressives in particular. Against this, the
women and student-youth there have conducted
heroic movements in recent times, which the rulers
suppressed through similar killings and repression.
As a result, the religious fascist rulers of Iran are now
vastly alienated from the masses. This has weakened
them from within. For this reason, it is not possible
for them to directly defeat the extremely powerful
US-Israeli attack. The Iranian rulers sought and
continue to seek refuge in other imperialist groups
like Russia and China against the US. This is also not
ultimately favorable for the liberation of the country,
nation, and people of Iran; rather, it has created
obstacles.
For these reasons, it appears that serious cracks have
emerged within the ruling group. The way a large
number of leaders, including Khamenei, were killed
on the very first day of the attack suggests that some
part of the rulers is involved in this regime-change
plan and is working from within for the US. - Therefore, the project of attacking Iran from the
outside, causing serious damage and distraction,
while simultaneously effecting a regime change
through some section of the ruling class from
within—who want to bring forward a new political
and foreign policy through the US—might succeed.
However, if the US has to engage in land warfare and
occupy the country to implement and protect such a
change, it could become a source of danger for them.
In that case, they might fall into a cycle of long-term
guerrilla warfare, which China and Russia would also
desire. The Iranian religious fascist rulers possess
powerful religious tools, immense support against the
US attack, and, above all, very strong and organized
armed militias.
Although such imperialist attacks and conspiracies
will, conversely, provide the conditions for religious
fascism to survive politically. Because, like in the rest
of the world, US imperialism is gravely hated in Iran.
Their pet lackey, the Pahlavi group, is shamelessly
treasonous. The people will clearly oppose this gang,
except for a section of the ruling bourgeoisie.
Consequently, due to the support of Russia-China,
pressure from world public opinion, the fear of Israel
among Muslim countries, and the constraints arising
from US imperialism’s own crisis, this regime might
survive.
However, even if they survive, they will have to do
so with massive losses. It may be that they will have
to accept many humiliating US conditions.
Furthermore, whatever happens, Iran may fall into a
cycle of civil war like Syria in the future.
Therefore, it is clear that the liberation of the Iranian
people will not happen soon, and peace will not come,
as all reactionaries have been saying. This is true for
the entire world today.
In the case of Iran, the people are being pushed to
choose between imperialism and religious fascism. In
reality, in the global context, both are enemies of the
people. In particular, taking the side of another
imperialist group because of opposition to the US is
no solution at all. This will only strengthen the
conspiracies and plans of imperialists for world war
preparations, which have nothing to do with the
interests of the people.
Therefore, not just the US, but the entire imperialist
system must be opposed—specifically, both
conflicting groups of imperialism must be opposed,
although in the case of Iran and the Middle East, the
US and Western imperialist groups are currently the
immediate primary danger. Simultaneously, religious
fascism must also be clearly exposed and opposed, as
they are very violent enemies of the vast masses.
In contrast to all this, the establishment of an antiimperialist, secular, and democratic Iran can be the only desire for the people of Iran and the people of
the world. Such a revolution is what is needed in Iran.
The flag of this revolution must be held high
everywhere in the world. - Wars such as the Iran war can have serious negative
impacts on many countries, including ours, especially
if the war is prolonged. The crisis that the
imperialism-dependent economy might face through
the crisis of oil, gas, and fuel, as well as problems in
remittance income, will be shifted onto the shoulders
of the people by the ruling class and the BNP
government. At the same time, they will try to hide
the fundamental problems of their system using the
logic of war. Bourgeois opponents—Jamaat, NCP,
and Awami League—will try to take advantage of
this, although they too are servants of the same
system. In this case, our duty should be to unmask the
imperialism-dependent economy and politics and
bring the alternative revolutionary system to the
forefront.
