On 22-23 February 2025, Internationalist Anti-War Anti-Imperialist Meeting was held in Athens. It was attended by the organizations :
- Anti-Imperialist Action, Denmark
- Union of Communists, France
- Communist Union of Workers (Marxist-Leninist-Maoist), Colombia
- Communist Construction, Germany
- Communist Party of Greece (marxist-leninist)
- People’s Student Movement, Malta
- Maoist Communist Party of Italy
- Communist Party of Turkey / Marxist Leninist (TKP/ML)
and was saluted by:
- Revolutionary Communist League from Norway,
- Revolutionary Front for the Support of Peoples’ Rights from Brazil
- Popular Current ‘Red Sun’ from Mexico
- Anti-imperialist League
At the end of the meeting the Athens Statement was drawn up and signed by the organisations:
- Anti-Imperialist Action (Denmark)
- Union of Communists (France)
- Communist Union of Workers (MLM) (Colombia)
- Communist Party of Greece (marxist-leninist)
- Communist Construction (Germany)
- Maoist Communist Party (Italy)
Based on the content of this Statement, the same signatory organisations considered it appropriate and necessary to create the website International Anti-imperialist Bulletin
- In order to have a permanent and open channel of communication, information and exchange of assessments between these organizations on the question of war as the pace of the imperialists and their antagonisms is constantly accelerating in this direction
- To inform about any initiatives of anti-war, anti-imperialist coordination taken by these organizations
- To function as a website of communication with any other militant, anti-imperialist, revolutionary organizations and collectives that would like to inform, express their opinion and contribute to this effort.
